การใช้ No, none (of) และ not 

no และ none  มีความหมายที่เหมือนกันคือ " ไม่,ไม่มี,ไม่ใช้"  แต่มีลักษณะการใช้ที่แตกต่างกัน 
We use no + noun. No = not a or not any

Ex .     We had to walk home because there was no bus.(= there wasn't a bus)
             พวกเราต้องเดินกลับบ้าน เพราะว่าไม่มีรถโดยสารประจำทาง
          There were no shops open. (=There weren't any shops open)
            ไม่มีร้านค้าเปิดเลย
          Suda is no fool. (=she is intelligent)
            สุดาไม่ได้เป็นคนโง่ (เธอเป็นคนฉลาด)

เราใช้ none ใน สองลักษณะ คือ: 

1.We use none without a noun: 
   เราใช้ none โดดๆ โดยที่ไม่มีคำนามตามหลัง
Ex .    "How much money do you have?"   "None." (=no money)
           "คุณมีเงินเท่าไหร่?"      "ไม่มี"
          All the tickets have been sold. There are none left. (=no tickets left)
            ตั๋วทั้งหมดถูกขายไปแล้ว ไม่มีเหลือเลย

2.We use none of with an uncountable noun, the verb is in singular: 
    เราใช้ none of  กับคำนามนับไม่ได้ และ คำกริยาที่ตามมา ต้องเป็นกริยา(รูป)เอกพจน์
Ex .   None of the work was done.
         This money is all yours. None of it is mine.
         None of this money is stolen

We also use none of with a plural noun or pronoun, or a singular noun refering to a group of people or things. 
We can use either a singular or a plural verb but a plural form is more usual.The singular form is used in formal style in BrE.
เช่นเดียวกัน เราใช้ none of กับคำนามพหุพจน์  คำสรรพนาม หรือ คำนามเอกพจน์ ที่อ้างถึง(แทน) สิ่งของทั้งหมดทีมีอยู่ หรือคนทั้งกลุ่ม คำกริยาที่ตามมา

เราสามารถใช้ทั้ง คำกริยา เอกพจน์ หรือ พหุพจน์(รูปใดรูปหนึ่ง) แต่โดยทั่วไป(นิยม)ใช้รูปพหุพจน์ , สำหรับคนอังกฤษจะใช้คำกริยา(รูป)เอกพจน์ ในการสื่อสารที่เป็นแบบทางการ 
Ex .    None of my family has / have been to England.
          None of the trains is / are going to Kamphaeng-phet.
          Everybody liked her but none (=nobody) more than I.
       
We can use no or none (of) instead of not a or not any to emphasise the negative idea in a sentence. Compare:
เราสามารถใช้ no และ none (of)  แทนที่ not a หรือ not any เพื่อเน้นใจความปฏิเสธในประโยคให้เด่นชัดมากกว่า, ลองเปรียบเทียบดู
Ex .    There isn't a key for this room.
         There is no key for this room. (=more emphatic)
         Suda didn't give me any help at all.
         Suda gave me no help at all. (=more emphatic)
         Sorry, there isn't any left.
         Sorry, there is none left. (=more emphatic)
         Sunee didn't have any of the typical symptoms of cholera.
         Sunee had none of the typical symptoms of cholera.  (=more emphatic)

Notice that we can't use not any in initial position in a clause or sentence, but we can use no / none of: 
สังเกตุได้ว่า เราไม่สามารถใช้ not any ในตำแหน่งแรกสุด ของประโยค หรือ อนุประโยค, แต่เราสามารถใช้ no และ none of
Ex .   No force was needed to make them move.
         None of the children was/were awake.
         None of the witnesses had actually seen Tao fire the gun.

In a formal or literary style we can use not (a) in initial position in a clause or sentence: 
ในการสื่อสารที่เป็นทางการ หรือภาษาหนังสือ(ภาษาเขียน) เราสามารถใช้ not (a) ในตำแหน่งแรกสุด ของประโยค หรือ อนุประโยค,
Ex .   Not until August did the government order an inquiry into the accident.
         Not a single word had she written since the exam had started.
         Not a sound came from the classroom.
